Ingredients
  

  • 4 large onions, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1/2 cup vegetable broth
  • 1 lb pasta
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Place sliced onions, butter, wine, and broth into the slow cooker.
  2. Cook on low until onions are soft, golden, and caramelized.
  3. Boil pasta separately until al dente.
  4. Add pasta water to the onions and stir in Parmesan until creamy.
  5. Toss the cooked pasta with the onion mixture and season to taste.
