Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups chocolate chips, divided
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz)
  • 3 cups crisp rice cereal or crushed cornflakes
  • 0.5 teaspoon sea salt, plus more for topping
  • 0.5 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Method
 

  1. Line an 8×8 pan with parchment paper, leaving overhang for easy removal.
  2. Melt 1.5 cups of chocolate chips with sweetened condensed milk in a microwave or saucepan, stirring until smooth.
  3. Stir in sea salt, cereal, and nuts if using, folding until evenly coated.
  4. Press the mixture firmly into the prepared pan, smoothing the top.
  5. Melt the remaining chocolate chips and spread over the top. Sprinkle with additional sea salt.
  6. Chill for 2 hours or until firm. Lift from the pan and slice into bars.
