Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup milk

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease and flour a 9-inch pan.
  2. Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Beat butter and cream cheese until smooth.
  4. Add sugar and beat until light, then add eggs and vanilla.
  5. Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk until combined.
  6. Bake until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Cool before removing from pan and slicing.
