Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 lb flank or skirt steak
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 3 medium bell peppers, sliced
  • 8 small tortillas

Method
 

  1. Whisk olive oil, lime juice, garlic, and spices. Marinate steak for at least 1 hour.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and sear steak 4–5 minutes per side.
  3. Rest steak for 5 minutes, then slice thinly against the grain.
  4. Sauté onions and bell peppers in the same skillet until tender.
  5. Return steak to pan, toss briefly, and serve hot with tortillas.
