Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 cups chopped pecans

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and mix well.
  3. Stir in flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined.
  4. Fold in chopped pecans. Spread batter evenly into prepared pan.
  5. Bake 25–30 minutes until golden. Cool slightly, then slice into squares.
