Ingredients
  

  • 4 russet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 tablespoons butter for serving

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. Wash and dry the potatoes thoroughly.
  3. Rub potatoes with oil or melted butter and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Poke 4 to 5 holes in each potato with a fork.
  5. Bake directly on oven rack for 45 to 60 minutes until tender.
  6. Slice open, fluff inside, and top with butter before serving.
