Ingredients
  

  • 0.75 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1.5 cups granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup cocoa powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 8 ounces semi-sweet or dark chocolate
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line an 8x8 or 9x9-inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mix melted butter and sugar, then add eggs and vanilla.
  3. Stir in flour, cocoa powder, and salt just until combined.
  4. Bake until set but fudgy. Cool completely and cut into bars.
  5. Melt chocolate with coconut oil if using.
  6. Dip brownie bars in chocolate, let excess drip off, and set on parchment.
