Ingredients
  

  • 1 round loaf crusty bread (sourdough or Italian)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 cups shredded cheese blend

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with foil.
  2. Score the loaf crosswise and lengthwise without cutting through the bottom.
  3. Mix butter, garlic, parsley, oregano, and salt in a bowl.
  4. Spread butter mixture deep into the cuts of the bread.
  5. Stuff shredded cheese into the cuts evenly.
  6. Wrap loosely in foil and bake for 15 minutes, then uncover and bake 5–10 minutes until golden.
