Crunchy oyster crackers coated in a buttery cinnamon-brown sugar glaze and toasted with pecans for an easy sweet snack.

Ingredients
  

  • 6 cups oyster crackers
  • 1 cup pecans, roughly chopped
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 250°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
  3. Place oyster crackers and pecans in a large bowl. Pour butter mixture over and toss to coat evenly.
  4. Spread mixture evenly on the baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes for even coating.
  6. Remove from oven and cool completely before breaking apart and serving.
