Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • pinch of salt
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup light corn syrup or maple syrup
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups chopped pecans

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking pan with parchment.
  2. Mix flour, sugar, butter, and salt. Press into pan.
  3. Bake crust until lightly golden.
  4. Whisk eggs, syrup, brown sugar, melted butter, and vanilla.
  5. Stir in pecans and pour over crust.
  6. Bake until set. Cool completely before slicing.
