Ingredients
  

  • 9 oz oyster crackers
  • 1 cup butter (2 sticks)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Spread oyster crackers evenly on the baking sheet.
  3. Melt butter and brown sugar in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly until boiling.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
  5. Pour caramel over crackers and toss gently to coat.
  6. Bake until bubbly and golden, stirring once during baking.
  7. Cool completely before breaking apart and serving.
