  • 1 pie crust unbaked 9-inch pie crust
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups pecan halves

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and place pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish.
  2. Whisk together corn syrup, brown sugar, eggs, melted butter, vanilla, and salt.
  3. Stir in pecans until evenly coated.
  4. Pour filling into prepared crust.
  5. Bake until center is set but slightly jiggly, then cool completely.
