  • 1 box vanilla cake mix plus box ingredients
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2.5 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon heavy cream

Method
 

  1. Bake cake according to package directions in a 9×13-inch pan.
  2. Poke holes all over the warm cake using a wooden spoon handle.
  3. Mix condensed milk, melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Pour filling evenly over cake and let soak.
  5. Beat frosting ingredients until smooth and spread over cake.
