Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 cups milk
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 package puff pastry, baked and crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Method
 

  1. Bake puff pastry until golden, then crumble into small pieces.
  2. Toast pastry crumbs in butter until lightly golden.
  3. Whisk egg yolk, sugar, flour, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Heat milk, then whisk into egg mixture and cook until thickened.
  5. Layer custard and pastry crumbs in glasses and serve.
