Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
- Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add butter, egg, and vanilla and mix until crumbly.
- Press two-thirds of the dough evenly into the bottom of the pan.
- Spread cherry pie filling evenly over the crust and drizzle with lemon juice.
- Crumble remaining dough over the top of the filling.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes until golden. Cool completely before slicing.
