Ingredients
  

  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 0.75 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1.5 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 2 cups apples, peeled and diced
  • 0.33 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk

Method
 

  1. Cream butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing until smooth.
  3. Mix flour and baking powder. Add to batter alternately with milk.
  4. Fold in diced apples gently.
  5. Layer batter and cinnamon sugar in loaf pan and swirl gently.
  6. Bake at 180°C until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
  7. Cool bread completely.
  8. Mix powdered sugar and milk, then drizzle glaze over bread.
