Ingredients
  

  • 200 g dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1.5 cups heavy cream, chilled
  • 3 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • fresh berries or chocolate shavings, optional garnish

Method
 

  1. Heat 1 cup of heavy cream until steaming. Pour over chopped chocolate and let sit briefly.
  2. Stir until chocolate is fully melted and ganache is smooth. Let cool slightly.
  3. Whip chilled heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
  4. Layer ganache and whipped cream in serving glasses or a dish.
  5. Chill until set, then garnish before serving if desired.

Notes
