Ingredients
  

  • 250 g ground beef
  • 200 g sausage, sliced or crumbled
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup beef stock
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 1 large egg, beaten

Method
 

  1. Cook ground beef and sausage in a skillet until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
  2. Add onion and cook until soft. Stir in garlic and cook briefly.
  3. Sprinkle flour over the mixture and stir to coat evenly.
  4. Gradually add beef stock, stirring constantly until thickened.
  5. Season with Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat and cool slightly.
  6. Line a baking dish with puff pastry and fill with meat mixture.
  7. Cover with pastry, seal edges, brush with egg wash, and cut steam vents.
  8. Bake until pastry is golden and filling is hot.
