  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 0.5 cup corn syrup
  • 0.33 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven and place pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish.
  2. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add egg and vanilla.
  3. Pour cheesecake mixture into the prepared crust.
  4. Whisk corn syrup, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
  5. Stir in chopped pecans.
  6. Gently spoon pecan mixture over cheesecake layer.
  7. Bake until center is set and topping is glossy.
  8. Cool completely, then chill before slicing.
