Ingredients
  

  • 1.66 cups white sugar
  • 0.66 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 6 oz milk chocolate chips
  • 16 large marshmallows
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Method
 

  1. Combine sugar, evaporated milk, butter, and salt in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Bring to a gentle boil, stirring constantly, and cook briefly.
  3. Remove from heat and add chocolate chips and marshmallows.
  4. Stir until fully melted and smooth.
  5. Stir in vanilla and nuts if using.
  6. Pour into a prepared pan and spread evenly.
  7. Cool until set, then cut into squares.
