Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 can crushed pineapple with juice (20 oz)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 0.25 cup melted butter (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven and grease a baking dish.
  2. Mix flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Add eggs, pineapple with juice, and vanilla. Stir until combined.
  4. Pour batter into baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle brown sugar and nuts over batter. Drizzle with butter if using.
  6. Bake until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
