Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 0.25 cup breadcrumbs
  • 0.25 cup chopped onion
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.25 cup butter
  • 8 oz sliced mushrooms
  • 0.25 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup beef stock

Method
 

  1. Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Form into oval patties and cook in a skillet until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and cook mushrooms and onion until softened. Add garlic.
  4. Stir in flour, then slowly add beef stock and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer until thickened.
  5. Return patties to the skillet, spoon gravy over them, and simmer briefly before serving.
