Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 cups whole milk, cold
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Cook sausage in a large skillet over medium heat until browned and fully cooked.
  2. Sprinkle flour over the sausage and stir to coat. Cook for 1–2 minutes.
  3. Slowly add cold milk, stirring constantly to prevent lumps.
  4. Cook until thickened, stirring frequently.
  5. Season with salt and black pepper. Serve warm over biscuits.
