Ingredients
  

  • 2 1/2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup applesauce or mashed banana
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup milk or non-dairy milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment.
  2. In a bowl, whisk applesauce, honey, egg, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Stir in oats, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt until combined.
  4. Spread mixture evenly into prepared pan.
  5. Bake 30–35 minutes until set and lightly golden.
  6. Cool completely before slicing into bars.
