Ingredients
  

  • 2–3 large eggs
  • 1 tbsp butter or oil
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 1 tbsp milk or cream (optional)
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheese (optional)

Method
 

  1. Crack eggs into a bowl, add salt, pepper, and milk or cream if using. Whisk until fully combined.
  2. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium-low heat and add butter or oil. Let it melt gently.
  3. Pour eggs into the pan and let sit briefly until edges begin to set.
  4. Using a spatula, gently fold eggs from the edges toward the center, stirring slowly.
  5. Remove from heat while eggs are still slightly soft. Add cheese if using and fold gently.
  6. Transfer immediately to a plate and serve hot.
