Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Italian sausage
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 3/4 cup ditalini pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Brown Italian sausage in a large pot over medium heat. Drain excess grease.
  2. Add onion and garlic and cook until softened.
  3. Stir in tomato paste and Italian seasoning.
  4. Add broth and diced tomatoes and bring to a simmer.
  5. Stir in ditalini and cook until pasta is tender.
  6. Reduce heat and stir in cream and Parmesan until smooth. Season to taste.
