Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups fresh tomatoes, diced
  • 1 cup canned diced tomatoes with chilies, drained
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 jalapeño, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Method
 

  1. Dice fresh tomatoes and chop onion, garlic, jalapeño, and cilantro.
  2. Drain canned tomatoes and add to a mixing bowl with fresh tomatoes.
  3. Add onion, garlic, jalapeño, cilantro, lime juice, cumin, and salt.
  4. Stir gently to combine. Taste and adjust seasoning.
  5. Let salsa rest 15 minutes before serving.
