Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups apples, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk (for glaze)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl.
  3. In another bowl, mix eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla. Combine with dry ingredients.
  4. Fold in diced apples. Scoop batter onto baking sheet.
  5. Bake until golden and set. Cool slightly.
  6. Mix powdered sugar and milk for glaze. Drizzle over fritters and allow to set.
