Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 28 oz crushed tomatoes
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 8 oz lasagna noodles, broken
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated

Method
 

  1. Brown ground beef with onion and garlic until cooked. Drain excess fat.
  2. Transfer beef to slow cooker. Add tomatoes, broth, seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cover and cook on low until flavors are well developed.
  4. Add broken lasagna noodles and cook until tender.
  5. Serve hot with ricotta, mozzarella, and parmesan on top.
