Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups mashed potatoes
  • 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup corn or peas
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup oil for frying

Method
 

  1. Cook ground beef with onion and seasoning until browned. Cool slightly.
  2. Flatten mashed potatoes, add filling, and shape into balls.
  3. Heat oil in skillet over medium heat.
  4. Fry potato bombs until golden on all sides.
  5. Drain briefly and serve warm.
