  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp butter or oil
  • 1 1/4 cups milk or water

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F and prepare a baking sheet.
  2. Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Cut in fat, then stir in liquid just until a soft dough forms.

  5. Bake until golden and hollow-sounding when tapped.
