Method
 

  1. Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until fully browned.
  2. Use a spoon to break the meat into small pieces while cooking.
  3. Once cooked, tilt the pan and spoon off excess fat, or transfer beef to a paper towel-lined colander to drain.
  4. Return beef to the pan and season or continue with your recipe as directed.
