Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup butter, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

Method
 

  1. Mix yeast, warm milk, sugar, butter, egg, and flour to form a soft dough.
  2. Knead dough until smooth, then let rise until doubled.
  3. Roll dough into a rectangle and spread with butter, sugar, cinnamon, and pecans.
  4. Roll into a log, slice or twist, and place on baking sheet.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
