Ingredients
  

  • 1 bag frozen shredded hash browns (30 oz), thawed
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup (10.5 oz)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups crushed cornflakes or Ritz crackers
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted (for topping)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
  2. Mix hash browns, cheese, sour cream, soup, melted butter, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Spread mixture evenly into prepared dish.
  4. Combine crushed cornflakes or crackers with melted butter and sprinkle over top.
  5. Bake uncovered for 40–45 minutes until golden and bubbly.
