  • 1 package black cherry gelatin
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 can black cherries, drained
  • 1 can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 0.5 cup chopped pecans or walnuts

Method
 

  1. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water, stirring until fully dissolved.
  2. Add cold water and let mixture cool slightly.
  3. Stir in cherries and pineapple, then refrigerate until thickened.
  4. Fold in whipped topping and nuts gently.
  5. Chill until fully set before serving.
