Ingredients
  

  • 2 slices bread
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 tsp grainy mustard
  • 2 slices sharp cheddar or Gruyère cheese

Method
 

  1. Spread grainy mustard on one side of each bread slice.
  2. Butter the opposite sides of the bread evenly.
  3. Place one slice butter-side down in a skillet and add cheese.
  4. Top with second slice butter-side up and cook on medium-low heat.
  5. Flip when golden and cook until cheese is fully melted.
