Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs or breasts
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 0.75 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried thyme or parsley
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp cold water

Method
 

  1. Place chicken in the slow cooker and season evenly.
  2. Pour chicken broth over the chicken and add butter.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 4–6 hours until tender.
  4. Mix cornstarch and water, stir into the slow cooker.
  5. Cook until gravy thickens, then serve hot.
