Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 0.75 cup milk or buttermilk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1.5 cups toasted pecans, chopped
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mix wet ingredients until smooth, then fold in dry ingredients.
  3. Fold in toasted pecans gently.
  4. Pour batter into pan and swirl with cinnamon sugar if desired.
  5. Bake until golden and a toothpick comes out clean. Cool before glazing.
