  • 2 cans apple pie filling
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, sliced

Method
 

  1. Grease the slow cooker insert lightly.
  2. Spread apple pie filling evenly across the bottom.
  3. Sprinkle cinnamon evenly over the apples.
  4. Pour dry cake mix evenly over the filling.
  5. Place butter slices evenly on top of the cake mix.
  6. Cover and cook on LOW for 3 hours or until topping is set.
  7. Serve warm directly from the slow cooker.
