Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 0.5 cup onion, diced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.25 cup pickles, chopped
  • 1 package refrigerated biscuit or crescent dough
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp butter, melted for brushing (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Brown ground beef with onion in a skillet until cooked through. Drain grease and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Stir in chopped pickles and shredded cheese. Let cool slightly.
  4. Flatten dough rounds, add filling, fold over, and seal edges.
  5. Place pockets on baking sheet, brush with butter if desired, and bake 15–18 minutes until golden.
