Ingredients
  

  • 3.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet active dry yeast (2 1/4 tsp)
  • 1.25 cups warm water
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1.5 tsp salt

Method
 

  1. Dissolve yeast in warm water and let stand 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead 8 minutes until smooth, or cover and rest for a no-knead method.
  4. Place dough in oiled bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
  5. Divide, shape, top, and bake as desired.
