Ingredients
  

  • 1 large turkey breast, bone-in or boneless
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • to taste salt and pepper

Equipment

  • Slow Cooker
  • cutting board
  • sharp knife
  • small bowl

Method
 

  1. Pour broth into the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Pat turkey breast dry and rub with oil.
  3. Mix paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  4. Coat turkey evenly with the seasoning blend.
  5. Place turkey breast in slow cooker over the broth.
  6. Cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours.
  7. Optional: Broil turkey for a golden finish.
  8. Let rest before slicing.
  9. Use drippings to make gravy if desired.
