  • 4 cups brioche or challah bread, cubed
  • 3 large eggs
  • 0.75 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp butter, for cooking

Method
 

  1. Whisk eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon until smooth.
  2. Add bread cubes to custard and gently toss to coat.
  3. Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Cook bread cubes in a single layer, turning until golden on all sides.
  5. Remove from skillet and serve warm with powdered sugar and syrup.
