Ingredients
  

  • 4 bone-in pork chops
  • 6 slices bacon, chopped
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

  1. Cook bacon in a skillet until crisp, then remove and set aside.
  2. Season pork chops with salt and pepper and sear in the bacon fat and olive oil.
  3. Remove pork chops once browned and pour out excess fat if needed.
  4. Add chicken broth to deglaze the skillet, scraping up browned bits.
  5. Stir in Dijon mustard, maple syrup, and cream, then simmer until slightly thickened.
  6. Return pork chops and bacon to the skillet and cook until heated through and coated in sauce.
