Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  3. Add sugar, milk, and cocoa powder. Stir constantly.
  4. Once bubbling, cook for 3 minutes, stirring continuously.
  5. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla, and pour into prepared pan.
  6. Let cool completely before cutting into squares.
