Ingredients
  

  • 6 cups crumbled unsweetened cornbread
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 cups chicken or turkey broth
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a baking dish.
  2. Sauté onion and celery in butter until softened.
  3. Combine crumbled cornbread, vegetables, seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stir in broth gradually, then add eggs and mix gently.
  5. Transfer to baking dish and bake 40–45 minutes until golden and set.
