Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 jalapeños, finely minced

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream butter until smooth, then mix in cheese, jalapeños, sugar, and salt.
  3. Gradually add flour and mix until a crumbly dough forms.
  4. Shape dough into a log and slice, or cut into wedges, then place on baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 12–15 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Cool before serving.
