Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 cups thinly sliced potatoes
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 1 cup fried onions
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Brown the ground beef in a skillet and season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Drain excess fat and set the beef aside.
  4. Mix the cream soups with milk until smooth.
  5. Layer half the sliced potatoes in the baking dish.
  6. Spread half the cooked beef over the potatoes.
  7. Pour half the soup mixture over the beef.
  8. Repeat the layers with remaining ingredients.
  9. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  10. Remove foil, top with fried onions, and bake 15 minutes more until golden.
