Easy apple dumplings made with crescent roll dough and baked in a buttery vanilla caramel sauce.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Granny Smith apples, peeled and sliced
  • 2 cans crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Unroll crescent dough and wrap apple slices in each piece.
  3. Arrange wrapped apples in a baking dish.
  4. Melt butter with sugar, then stir in vanilla and cinnamon.
  5. Pour sauce over dumplings and bake 40–45 minutes until golden and bubbly.
