Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil or melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups grated apples

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Whisk dry ingredients together in a bowl.
  3. Mix eggs, sugars, oil, and vanilla in a separate bowl.
  4. Fold in apples, then combine with dry ingredients.
  5. Layer batter with cinnamon swirl, bake 50–60 minutes, cool, and glaze if desired.
